EXPENSE DISCLOSUREs

As a publicly funded post-secondary institution, MacEwan University has a fiduciary obligation to ensure that funds entrusted to it are managed in a fiscally prudent manner. The university is committed to maintaining an environment of openness, transparency and accountability to the public.

In accordance with this commitment, executive level travel and hospitality expenses are publicly disclosed on this web page on a quarterly basis for the reporting period starting October 2012. The public disclosure includes related expenses paid for travel and professional development, hosting and working sessions during the period and are posted within one month of the end of each quarter. Where an individual had no travel or hospitality expenses to disclose, links for that quarter are omitted.

This disclosure complies with the Government of Alberta guidelines and institutional policies. Information normally withheld under Alberta’s Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPP) is redacted before public disclosure of the expenses.
