It’s always a good idea to apply early. If there are problems, questions or additional steps to complete your application, you’ll have the time you need.
Application deadlines for programs at MacEwan University are based on when you want to start your studies (the intake term). All of MacEwan University’s programs admit new students in the fall. Some programs offer additional intakes in the winter, spring or summer terms.
Deadlines for other admission criteria
You are eligible to audition after you have officially applied to the Bachelor of Fine Arts Music Theatre Performance Major. See Audition Guidelines for audition requirements and more information on the audition process.
In-person audition dates:
- February 10, 2024
- March 9, 2024
Video audition deadlines*:
- Applications submitted through June 30: July 7, 2024
- Applications sumitted July 1 - 31: August 9, 2024
*We have extended the application deadline from June 30 to July 31. All applicants who apply before June 30 must have their video audition submitted by July 7, 2024. Applicants who apply between July 1 and 31, have until August 9 to submit.
Submit your portfolio and statement of intent after you have officially applied to the Bachelor of Fine Arts Studio Arts Major. See Portfolio Guidelines for portfolio requirements and more information on the submission process.
