STATEMENT OF INTENT

Admission to the theatre production major in the Bachelor of Fine Arts is based on past academic performance and your statement of intent. Follow the guidelines below to submit your statement by the deadline.
If you have questions after reviewing the information, contact the academic advisor in the Department of Theatre from your MacEwan University student Gmail account.
1. Apply to the Bachelor of Fine Arts
You must apply for admission to the program and receive your MacEwan student ID number before you submit your statement of intent. We will not review submissions that do not have a corresponding application on file.
Apply online through the ApplyAlberta website. Select Bachelor of Fine Arts as your program and then select the Theatre Production Major. Check MacEwan's How to Apply page for the steps in the application process.
2. Check dates and deadlines
After you have officially applied to the program, you may submit your statement of intent.
Theatre Production is a competitive program and seats in the program are limited. We encourage you to submit your statement of intent as early as possible. However, if seats are still available, submissions will be accepted until the end of the final submission window.
