TUITION, FEES & AID

Tuition fees for domestic students

2024/25 tuition is based on $282/bill credit. Each course is 3 billing credits.

* Term fees include mandatory non-instructional and Students’ Association fees and are based on enrolment. These estimates do not include books or supplies ($0-175 per course). Tuition fees for international students

2024/25 basic international tuition is $5,475 per term. This cost does not include term fees, books, or supplies (same as above). Tuition and fees are based on a full-time course load which is three courses per term.

Foundational Learning Assistance Program

Please review the eligibility requirements for the Foundational Learning Assistance Program. Part-time and full-time learning support options are available; however, funding is limited and is not guaranteed. Priority is given to currently enrolled students.

Due to limited funding, there is currently a waitlist for Foundational Learning Assistance.

Application process

  1. Apply, and be accepted, to the University Preparation or English as an Additional Language program.
  2. Check your myMacEwan student Gmail account for your Welcome email. The link to the waitlist for Foundational Learning Assistance will be included in the Welcome email.
  3. Click on the link and submit your information to add yourself to the waitlist. Please note: New students should expect to be on the waitlist for at least one to two terms.
  4. If/when funding becomes available, we will contact you to let you know and to help you enroll in classes.
  5. We will enter your information into the government’s system. This will trigger an application for funding, which is sent directly to your myMacEwan student Gmail account.
  6. Submit your Foundational Learning Assistance funding application. You must have a verified Alberta.ca account to apply for funding online. If you do not have an account already, please sign up for one as early as possible as it can take several weeks to confirm

Pay your tuition and fees

Be prepared to pay tuition and applicable fees by the deadline each term. A payment will be applied against any outstanding balance from a previous term before being applied to current or future tuition and term fees.
