Learning drums and percussion is a great way for all ages and levels to learn rhythm and coordination. The skills developed as a percussionist can also complement vocalists and instrumentalists with tempo and rhythm.
We offer concert percussion, world percussion and drum kit lessons. Students can apply their percussion skills in a variety of ensembles and groups such as percussion ensembles, jazz, rock and pop bands.
If you have a passion for drums or are looking to enroll in post-secondary programs such as the MacEwan Bachelor of Music in Jazz and Contemporary Popular Music, take private lessons that cater to your individual learning needs. Our teachers are trained professionals with experience in many percussion disciplines.
Drummers and percussionists may also be interested in the Conservatory Big Band.
