Learn by doing

Our programs blend traditional classroom experiences with hands-on, real-life learning opportunities. When you conduct research, work as a co-op student or intern, or participate in field studies and international partnerships, you gain valuable hands-on experience.

From field schools in Ecuador's rainforests to internships with the Royal Alberta Museum and co-op placements with government and industry, experiential learning opportunities invite you to develop career-ready skills that potential employers notice and appreciate—all while making valuable connections and applying the knowledge you've learned in the classroom.
