Wi-Fi

MacEwanSecure

Registered students, staff and faculty members have access to the MacEwanSecure Wi-Fi network while at MacEwan University.

Access MacEwanSecure by logging in with your MacEwan username and password. (This is the same information used to log in to your other MacEwan services).

Visitor Wi-Fi

MacEwan has a Wi-Fi service for campus visitors and guests, offering a free, secure and easy internet access to conference delegates and attendees, event sponsors, vendors, keynote speakers, visiting lecturers and families visiting students on campus for special events.

Visitors can access Wi-Fi by following these steps:

  • Kiosks located across the campus (Technology Support, Library, USC Welcome Centre and on all digital displays) display a daily passcode for access.
  • Visitors text the daily passcode to the indicated phone number on the kiosk.
  • Visitors then receive a return text message containing their temporary, unique username and password, which they can use to login to the visitor Wi-Fi on their device(s).
  • Free, secure Wi-Fi access is available for the entire day.
