Parking & Transportation
Walk, bike, bus, drive. Get around campus—and the city—the way that suits you best. No matter how you get from A to B, it’s easy to do when residence is your starting point.
Parking is available in the west and east sides of Surface Lot S on move-in day. Please request a vehicle dash pass from the Front Desk.
Parking
Students who live in residence can pay to park anywhere on campus. You can purchase hourly, daily or monthly passes. The 110 Street Lot and the 111 Street Lot offer budget-friendly parking with direct access to Residence. Just a few steps away, the 110 Street Parkade provides five levels of covered parking equipped with electrical outlets for cold weather. The Allard Hall and Robbins Underground Parkades are more expensive but offer the convenience of heated parking
All university parking is coordinated by Parking Services. You can contact them with questions about parking, including parking lot maintenance.
Bike storage
If you live in MacEwan Residence, you can park your bike in our indoor parking area, located on the main floor. Bike parking is free and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ask for details at the front desk. Residence ID is required.
The parking map shows you other places to park your bike on campus. The bike parking area in the Robbins Health Learning Centre parkade includes a bike repair station.
Visit the front desk and take advantage of our no-cost bike share program. Available to MacEwan residents only, this service runs from March 15 to November 15, weather permitting. You can book an electric bike for up to four hours. Two bikes are available.

Public transit
When you live in residence, you are close to numerous bus routes and only a few blocks away from both of the city's light rail transit (LRT) lines: the Metro Line (MacEwan Station) and the Capital Line (Corona Station).

Car share
Residents who are MacEwan students have 24/7 access to Communauto car share vehicles. Gas, insurance and parking are all included, and you pay only for the exact amount of time you use the vehicle.
Airport shuttle
MacEwan Residence is a pick-up and drop-off point for Sky Shuttle, a van service that travels to and from Edmonton International Airport. If you want to go to the Edmonton International Airport or if you are returning from the airport and want to be dropped off at residence, book a spot on the Sky Shuttle ahead of time.
