RESIDENCE
Residence Life
Paint nights and potlucks, study-buddy get-togethers and pet therapy sessions, heart-to-heart chats and volunteer opportunities. One of the best things about living in residence is being part of a community that learns, plays and grows together.
Friends and mentors
Live here and you immediately become part of a unique community. Sometimes, roommates become friends. Other times, you meet your new BFF at a social event or in the study lounge. And sometimes it’s just nice to have someone to say hello to as you move through your day. With about 800 people living here, you’re bound to meet someone whose interests and experiences bring you together.
Our team includes residence assistants (who are students just like you), other student staff members and professional staff. What do they have in common? They all look forward to making your experience in residence a good one. They point you in the right direction when you have questions, host events that will get you out of your room and even help you and your roommate see eye to eye when things go sideways. Sound advice and friendly support are just around the corner.
Academic success
We support your academic success through study groups, private and group study rooms, skills-based workshops, exam kits and many other initiatives. As well, we have designated quiet floors, nightly quiet hours and a 24/7 quiet study space before and during final exams.
If you want to know more about how we support academic success—or if you have an idea you’d like to try—speak to your RA.
Social events
Video game tourneys, shopping trips, escape room excursions—take part in fun, stress-busting events throughout the year. Let us help you find that important balance between study time and social time. If you have an idea for an event, let your RA know. They are always looking for new ideas.
