At the Chancellor Speaker Series, renowned experts share perspectives and research that support the chancellor’s vision.

Dr. Fields believes that positive change is something we must choose and work for. “The key to MacEwan’s future success,” he says, “involves achieving academic excellence in a way that remembers that education is all about people and approaches that future with humanity and compassion.”

The series inspires discussion about issues that are important to both the chancellor and the communities the university serves. The series also raises the university's profile and reputation as a trendsetting and trend-breaking institution—and as a thought leader in the community.
