On September 13, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) announced the recipients of its 2024 Insight Grant and Insight Development Grants. The major federal agency, which promotes and supports research and training in the humanities and social sciences research in Canada, awarded grants to several projects involving MacEwan University faculty members.
“MacEwan received its first SSHRC grant in 2004 and the ongoing growth of our social sciences and humanities scholarship has been phenomenal,” said Dr. Craig Kuziemsky, associate vice-president, Research. “SSHRC funding is an important means of supporting our research to understand and help solve core societal challenges in Alberta and beyond. I look forward to seeing what our talented faculty members and students will achieve with this funding.”
Congratulations to MacEwan’s most recent SSHRC funding recipients of 2024 Insight Grants, and Insight Development Grants awarded in both fall and spring 2024.
