The MacEwan University Conservatory of Music’s quartet-in-residence, the Garneau String Quartet, will perform a concert series throughout the 2023/24 season and coach young artists in the Chamber Music Academy Program.

What truly sets this program apart is the invaluable opportunity for students to collaborate with distinguished guest performers from the concert series. One of the goals of the concert series is to ignite a lasting passion for music, encouraging students to continue their musical journey with unwavering zeal.

“We hope that seeing their coaches and guests perform, students will be inspired to feel the thrill of performing,” says Faye Stollery, conservatory program assistant.

This sentiment is echoed by quartet violinist Laura Veeze: “It is always a thrill to explore and share a great piece of music with others. With my fantastic colleagues and with our audience.”

Everyone is invited to attend all the concerts in the series, held on Mondays at 7:30 p.m. on: Oct. 2, Nov. 27, Jan. 15 and Apr. 8. Adult subscriptions and individual tickets are available for purchase online here.
