REQUIREMENTS

Confirm you meet admission requirements before you apply to the program.

2025/26

You must meet the following requirements to apply for Fall 2025,  Winter 2026 or Spring/Summer 2026 intake. If you are applying to start your studies in Spring/Summer 2025 you must meet requirements outlined in the 2024/25 Academic Calendar.

Eligibility

To be considered for Open Studies you must:

  • Meet all prerequisites and co-requisites for individual courses.

Other admissions considerations

  • If you have been required to withdraw (or equivalent) from a program or institution, you are not eligible to attend classes for 12 months after the date of withdrawal. You can apply during this 12-month period for an intake term that starts after the 12 months have elapsed.
  • Enrolment limits apply to Open Studies courses. You may enrol in a maximum of 6 credits per term and complete a maximum of 24 credits overall. Exemptions may be considered for exceptional circumstances, such as visiting students.
