Business Studies Minor

OUT-OF-FACULTY MINOR | BACHELOR OF ARTS | BACHELOR OF SCIENCE

Learn to think strategically, work in diverse teams, communicate ideas and solve problems by studying a range of business disciplines including finance, marketing and management. Gain a general knowledge of basic business principles and learn to apply them to everyday business situations.

This minor in business studies is structured to give you exposure to the national and international business environment. You learn to understand decision-making processes, interpret financial statements, use tools and models for analysis and perfect the necessary computer skills to prepare you for today’s global market.

A minor in business studies, when combined with your passion and enthusiasm for your major subject, prepares you to work as a consultant, freelancer or an entrepreneur in your area of expertise. It opens doors to unique employment opportunities or gives you a head-start if you want to create a business of your own.
