ENGLISH AS AN ADDITIONAL LANGUAGE (EAL)

Our English as an Additional Language (EAL/ESL) program is for intermediate to advanced English language learners. The intermediate levels help learners with general English skills. In the advanced levels, we teach academic reading, writing, listening, speaking, vocabulary and study skills.
Students take these courses to develop their English skills to prepare for university studies, to re-enter a profession or to get a better job. The EAL program is open to domestic and international students.

Courses
All English as an Additional Language classes are scheduled in-person, on campus during the day Monday to Friday. Classes are 80 min long and are scheduled between 9:30am and 2:00pm, however the class schedule is subject to change. Please visit the Academic Calendar for a full list of courses and descriptions.

All course offerings are dependent on minimum enrolment. The course schedule may change without notice. Students are encouraged to register early to secure the most desirable times.
