About
Simon-Marc de Freitas has been living in Edmonton since 2009. He holds a Master's degree in Collaborative Piano from the University of Toronto as well as a Bachelor of Music from the University of British Columbia. Recently, Simon-Marc completed an after-degree in the field of secondary education at the University of Alberta. He is currently a full-time junior high instrumental music teacher in the Edmonton Catholic School District.
Lessons
Simon-Marc teaches online and in-person at the Alberta College Campus on weekday evenings and Saturdays. Lessons are available for ages 5 to adult from beginner to intermediate levels. He helps students prepare for Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) examinations or other special performances. Lessons are relaxed and always structured to the goals of the student.
He is also a rudimentary theory teacher and piano accompanist for instrumentalists and singers (amateur and professional).
