MAry Fearon
About
An instructor at Alberta College Conservatory of Music since 1994, Mary Fearon holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Toronto, and a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta. While in Toronto she performed with groups such as the Canadian Opera Company, the Toronto Symphony, the Toronto Pops Orchestra, the National Arts Centre Orchestra and the York Brass.
Since returning to Edmonton she has performed with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, the Citadel Theatre, Calgary Philharmonic and Alberta Baroque Ensemble. She has performed in many solo and chamber music recitals, and is in constant demand as a clinician and adjudicator. She is the conductor, and founder of "Horns a' Plenty", a large community horn ensemble based in Edmonton.
Mary also teaches horn at the University of Alberta and Concordia University in Edmonton.
Lessons
Mary teaches private horn lessons online and in-person from her private studio in the University of Alberta/South Campus area. Lessons are available weekday afternoons and evenings for all ages.
