About

A professional musician of over 25 years, Kim Lesaca has performed in different parts of the world on various stages with some of the world’s best musicians. Kim was already one of the Philippines’ first call electric bass players, having done countless live and studio performances with the country’s top performers before moving to Canada in January 2009. Since then, he has established himself as an outstanding bass player with some of Canada’s best music performers, live and studio musicians, and as well as music producers, performing a wide selection of music genres — Jazz, R&B, Pop, Rock and Country. Kim is currently an artist/endorser of C.K Carlton Guitar, Spector Bass, Black Diamond Strings, iGIG Bass Guitar cases, and Eden Amplification.

Lessons

Kim teaches private electric bass lessons for ages 12 to adult, from beginner to advanced levels. He offers online and in-person lessons from his private studio located southeast Edmonton in the Laurel area from September to June.

Kim is an accomplished practicing musician and excellent teacher! He is skilled and knowledgeable in both the theory of music and practical applications of theoretical information. Kim has a huge experience of studying music and teaching it to others. He is constantly refining his own skills by being active as well known in Edmonton as a sessional bass player.
