About
David Tutt has been a part of the teaching staff at Alberta College Conservatory of Music since 1992. A student of Gyorgy Sebök, David has performed solo, chamber, and orchestral repertoire in Canada, USA and Europe. He has recorded for CBC, BBC (England), DRS (Switzerland) and Radio Iceland, and had his Wigmore Hall debut in 1988.
David is the recipient of the ARCT Gold Medal, and of the Government of Alberta Achievement and CFMTA Young Artists Awards. He performed with the Orford Quartet and the Fine Arts Quartet in the Banff Winter Cycle Programme, and premiered Rosen’s Concerto for piano and orchestra (with Calgary Philharmonic) as part of the Banff Centre’s 50th Anniversary.
