BONNIE CANNAM

PRIVATE LESSONS | HARP

conservatory instructor
The harp is such a beautiful and soulful instrument - it gives great pleasure to both the student and the audience! There are many technical skills which must be learned to "get the most" out of the instrument. However, while on the road to achieving these skills, there is a wide variety of rewarding music to enjoy!

About

Bonnie began studying piano as a child, and she completed her ARCT at the Royal Conservatory. She later studied Music Education at the University of Alberta and integrated music into daily education of young children at Edmonton Public Schools for a number of years. In her adult years, Bonnie began directing an adult choir, and has done so for over 20 years.

In the last 15 years, Bonnie has studied harp with Keri Zwicker and Nora Bumanis. She currently teaches pedal and lever harp up to level six, Royal Conservatory, and leads a harp ensemble of enthusiastic harp students!
