Wildfires, economic slumps, heat waves and food shortages—cities today face a web of interconnected crises that demand a new, systemic approach to urban wellness. With lives and well-being at stake, it’s time to rethink how to tackle these complex challenges.
The Research Institute for Urban Wellness sees urban wellness as more than an abstract idea; it is a practical way to address real challenges in city living. Through partnerships and dialogues with grassroots, non-for-profits, governments and industry stakeholders, we are researching how to revitalize public spaces, improve safety and support vibrant urban life.
