Simulated Operating Room Theatre & Skills lab

In the simulated operating room, professionally licensed nurses learn to provide patient care during surgery and to coordinate care throughout the entire surgical process.

The room mimics all the features of a sterile surgical environment and is equipped with operating tables, patient ventilators, monitoring devices and operating room lights. It contains a dividing wall for large learning events that, when opened, converts the space into two, full operating rooms. Or it can serve as one operating room plus a clinical skills lab.
