ADVISING
Academic Advising Centre
Academic advisors in the centre provide academic support to students exploring programs and preparing to apply or those considering changes to their studies. Whether it is understanding admissions, general questions or getting started, we’re here to help.
If you have been recently admitted to MacEwan University or you are a current student, your best source of information is an academic advisor in your faculty or school.
Faculty/school advising
One-on-one virtual or in-person appointments are a great way to spend dedicated time with an academic advisor. Appointments are released one week at a time on Thursdays at 4 p.m. Check back for cancellations and last minute openings.
Chat online with an academic advisor. The chat link is visible at the bottom of this web page when advisors are online. Timing may vary during the day and include evening support.
We offer in-person and virtual workshops on topics related to understanding university processes, enrolment and academic planning, throughout the year.
As a MacEwan University student, you must use your @mymacewan.ca student Gmail account when you contact MacEwan University faculty and staff by email. Include your student ID number in all correspondence.
