Subatomic particles and gigantic rock formations, the chemistry that makes up our bodies and the physics that lets us explore the farthest reaches of the solar system—in our department you learn about the big and the small, the near and the far.

Delve into current research in the fields of chemistry, physics and earth and planetary sciences. Although we are a small campus, our students have access to state-of-the-art technology, including robotic telescopes and a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrometer.
