The design industry is changing—and MacEwan’s Department of Design is leading the way. Our cutting-edge curriculum blends the artistic and the analytical, responding to industry demands for professionals who have experience with design crafting as well as design thinking.
Our students are more than applied artists—they are also applied social scientists who demonstrate the effectiveness of their work in addition to creating it. Our flexible programs invite students to choose their own path, preparing them for the complex, multi-faceted and exciting world of design.
