This series is for faculty who are intrigued by SoTL or who need a refresher. You will be introduced to the key components of strong SoTL projects—from crafting a compelling research question or selecting the right methodology to ethics review and dissemination avenues. Through hands-on activities, you achieve your SoTL project goals. All faculty can participate in the SoTL series—sessional, tenure-track and tenured faculty. Pedagogical Inquiry and Practice (PIP) is a MacEwan University publication dedicated to the study of significant educational experience in post-secondary institutions using a range of theoretical, methodological and disciplinary approaches. MacEwan faculty are invited to make submissions to this peer-reviewed, Canadian, open-access journal.

While all faculty—sessional, tenure-track, and tenured—are welcome to join the SoTL Community of Practice, this program is designed for those with a strong foundational understanding of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.
