Enrolling in eCampusAlberta courses
Important: The process for enrolling in a MacEwan course that is offered within eCampusAlberta has changed. If you want to take a MacEwan eCampus course, follow the enrolment directions below according to your situation.
If you are in a MacEwan program:
Log in to myStudentSystem by first logging in to myMacEwan.ca. After you've logged in to myStudentSystem, navigate to 'Student Center' and enrol in the course.
Note: Course fees listed in the eCampusAlberta catalogue may vary if you are a MacEwan program student.
If you have taken a MacEwan course through eCampusAlberta within the last five years, but not as part of a MacEwan program:
If you have taken an eCampusAlberta course through MacEwan within the past two years, your file is still active. You can enrol online through myStudentSystem (explained above).
If you last took courses anywhere from two to five years ago, your network ID is has likely been deactivated, but you are still eligible to be an Open Studies student. Call 780-497-5000 for assistance: have your student ID ready.
If you are not enrolled in a MacEwan program and have not taken a MacEwan course through eCampusAlberta within the last five years:
Apply to become a MacEwan Open Studies student through ApplyAlberta. You will find Open Studies in the list of MacEwan programs. There is a one-time application fee.
After your application is processed and application fee paid, you will receive a MacEwan network ID and password. Use this information to log in to myMacEwan.ca and enroll in courses using myStudentSystem.
