The first stop for any international student is MacEwan International. The staff is available to answer any request you might have about coming to MacEwan from abroad: from assistance with selecting your program and student visas to adjusting to life in Canada.
Programs for international students
International students can enroll in any MacEwan program if they meet the admission requirements.
Students who do not meet the admission requirements for the program of their choice should look into our University Studies International (USI) program. USI prepares international students to study in one of MacEwan's full-time programs.
Support for international students
Advisors in the International Advising area are available to assist our international students with
- academic planning,
- health care questions,
- work permits and study visa renewals,
- career advice and
- adjusting to life in Canada, and
- personal counseling
