Accessibility

We are committed to ensuring that our web site is accessible to everyone. If you have any questions regarding the accessibility of the university’s web site or are having problems accessing any information on our site, please use our feedback form; we want to improve the experience for all of our visitors.

Following recommendations for web accessibility, we have taken the following steps in building our new web pages:

  • We use headings, lists, and consistent page structure, which improves navigation for all users and makes it easier for screen reader users to navigate the site.
  • We use hypertext links that make sense, avoiding the use of “click here.”
  • We use ‘alt’ descriptions for visual elements.
  • We have tried to ensure that our web pages are semantically correct; this improves the navigation options for visually and motor-impaired users.
