Mandate
To provide a forum for dialogue about issues of shared mutual interest related to work integrated learning to enhance the learning experience for MacEwan students.
Role
To promote interaction among faculties and schools about issues and practices related to work integrated learning:
(a) To review University policies that impact work integrated learning and offer suggestions as applicable
(b) To develop and share resource materials to support innovative practice across faculties/schools
(c) To address shared interests related to employer engagement and recognition
(d) To coordinate professional development needs as identified across faculties and schools as appropriate
(e) To elevate the image and importance of work integrated learning as critical components of academic programs.
