MacEwan Recreation provides MacEwan students the opportunity to go on Fall and Winter Road Trips. These outings are designed to provide students with an inexpensive gettaway and adventure experience. Below are the Road Trips offered by MacEwan Recreation last year.
Fall Road Trip
Mountain Biking and Rafting> > $75
Experience all Canmore has to offer. Join us for a weekend of mountain biking and white water rafting. Includes transportation, one night’s accommodation and all activities. No experience required.
Winter Road Trip
Skiing/ Snowboarding and Dog Sledding>> $95
Experience all that the Canadian Rockies have to offer. Join us for a weekend of skiing/ snowboarding and dog sledding. Includes transportation, one night’s accommodation and all activities. Students are responsible for their own ski/snowboard rentals and helmets are required for all students. No experience required.
Registration is in person only. You need your student ID # and must be 18 years or older. Only open to MacEwan students who have paid their Sport and Wellness fee*.
*Enrolled in 6 or more credits/term.
